New gourmet dining restaurant helmed by Chefs behind burger chain Burgs is now open on Kandahar Street

Chefs Indra & Ridz

If you’re looking for a unique dining experience, you may want to try out this new restaurant in the culturally rich Kampong Glam district.

Located on Kandahar Street, Our Restaurant recently opened in mid-September.

Its namesake ‘OUD’ refers to the captivating essence of perfumes, and it is this interplay of fragrance and gastronomy that inspires the use of firewood in the restaurant’s kitchen.

Chefs from Burgs by Project Warung

At the helm of Oud Restaurant are Chefs Indra and Ridz, perhaps most notably known as the guys behind the popular affordable burger chain Burgs by Project Warung.

However, their culinary journeys start off way before flipping burgers.

Chef Indra honed his skills under renowned mentors like Daniel Boulud and Patrick Hendriroux before co-founding Burgs by Project Warung with Chef Ridz.

Meanwhile, Chef Ridz’s culinary path took flight at terra Tokyo Italian under Chef Seita Nakahara.

Together, they’ve embarked on the Oud Restaurant adventure, driven by a shared mission to bring exceptional Halal-friendly dining to Singapore.

Open kitchen with firewood grill

Oud’s heart lies in its open firewood grill, adding rustic charm to every dish.

The crackling flames create an authentic atmosphere, enhancing your overall dining adventure. The alluring aroma of grilled ingredients fills the air, inviting you on a gastronomic journey like no other.

With an open kitchen concept, diners will be immersed in the precision and care that go into each meticulously crafted dish.

These elements combine to create a sophisticated yet accessible dining experience, which we’re very excited to see in Kampong Glam.

The Menu

The menu at Oud Restaurant pays tribute to the Southeast Asian tradition of enjoying food with your hands, aptly named the ‘Use ‘Em Hands’ section.

This culinary experience invites guests to engage their senses with delectable dishes such as:

Furthermore, Oud Restaurant embraces the spirit of communal dining by offering a ‘Good Things Must Share’ section, featuring dishes like:

For a sweet conclusion to your meal, indulge in Grandma’s Banana Cake, a homemade delight crafted from Chef Ridz’s cherished grandmother’s recipe.

Additionally, the Teh Tarik With Homemade Waffle Cone And Teh Espuma promises a delightful symphony of flavours that resonate with the local palate.
