New restaurant debuts premium smoked steaks and all-day breakfast at North Bridge Rd

ASAP & Co opening soon

We’ve hardly had time to try all the new places that opened in the Kampong Glam area last month, and already the latest entrant to the scene has emerged: ASAP & Co.

The steakhouse-cum-cafe will open for business on November 13, serving premium smoked meats and all-day brunch.

Breakfast from 8am

Breakfast starts with sweet nourishments in the forms of baby Dutch pancakes, granola bowls, and brioche French toasts, while savoury items include a shabsouka toast with spiced ground beef in tomato stew, truffle toast and a take on a classic egg & guac toast.

If you’re up for a challenge at 8am, the ASAP Ultimate Breakfast is basically lunch disguised as breakfast. Potatoes, mushrooms, sunny side-up, sourdough toast, mesclun salad and 12-hour smoked brisket tag team to draw you out of the deepest slumber.

Smoked meats for lunch/dinner

On the lunch menu, Smok buffalo wings, truffle fries, grilled spiced corn, and USDA Flanken short ribs are among the shareable appetizers priced between S$8 and S$38.

The main courses are headlined by premium smoked steaks (from S$28). Also available, smoked chicken, smoked beef burgers, and pastas.

As for the dinner menu, ASAP & Co seems to focus exclusively on premium smoked meats in even more diverse cuts and mass.

Whilst relatively smaller cuts of striploin, ribeye and Porterhouse are readily available, larger cuts of 500g and above would require you to preorder at least 4 hours in advance.

The restaurant even offers larger-sized steaks (2kg and above), though advanced booking is mandatory.

If you’re keen to try a little bit of everything ASAP & Co has to offer, their platters are certainly the best value for money.

Couples can go for the ASAP Smoked Platter (S$90) which features beef brisket, USDA Flaken ribs, buffalo wings and sausages while larger groups should pick a bone with the gigantic 1.8kg Tomahawk (S$308).

By the team behind Brulee & The Smok Hous

Besides the menu, little else is known about ASAP & Co, though it seems like the concept is created by the team behind by Brulee.sg and The Smok Hous.

What sets ASAP & Co apart from other steakhouses is that they exclusively smoke, and not grill, their meats. Apparently, this produces crazy tender juicy flavourful steak, aside from the fact that it takes hours before it hits the table.

Desserts specialist Brulee would be the one responsible for the sweet treats.
