A halal mookata-style stall in Kembangan is offering delivery — complete with a portable stove, pans and gas canisters — for customers to satisfy their cravings for Thai BBQ while staying safe at home.
With dining in no longer an option during Phase 2 (Heightened Alert), Power Thai BBQ opposite Kembangan MRT has thought of a way to bring the BBQ experience right to your door step.
In April, the Muslim-owned business opened a second outlet in Yishun, although that too is probably affected by the latest regulations.
S$49.90 minimum spend with S$15 delivery charge
With a minimum spend of S$49.90 (previously S$60) on food alone, you and your family can enjoy delicious grilled meats accompanied with an assortment of other ingredients like seafood, chicken, vegetables, mushrooms and more.
Each delivery has a S$15 charge. The order comes with soup base, portable stove, pans and their signature chilli sauces. Orders above S$80 will be entitled to free delivery.
However, take note that they do not deliver islandwide. The serviceable areas are as follows:
- Kembangan, Eunos, Geylang, Paya Lebar, MacPherson
- Hougang, Seng Kang, Punggol
- Tampines, Bedok, Simei, Pasir Ris, Changi
There is also a limit of 30 orders per day, so orders are on a first come first served basis.
The cut off time for same-day deliveries is 4pm, and orders will get delivered in 2 batches: between 5pm-7pm and 7pm-9pm.
Once you’re done with your in-home BBQ, just leave the appliances outside your house and Power Thai BBQ will collect them between 11pm-1am.
