The Halal Eater Contest Terms and Conditions

Contest Period

  1. This “National Dish Giveaway” (“Contest”) organised by The Halal Eater (Organiser) will run from 4 August 2021 to 8 August 2021, (“Contest Period”). All entries after the Contest Period shall not qualify to participate in the Contest.
  2. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel or amend the contest and these terms and conditions without notice.

Eligibility

  1. The contest is open to residents of Singapore aged 18 years or over except employees of The Halal Eater, Ngeteh Pte. Ltd, The Social Playbook and its affiliates and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organization or judging of the competition.
  2. Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
  3. Each participant must vote on The Halal Eater Instagram Story contest to qualify.

Winners and Prizes

  1. Total of 13 random winners will be chosen.
  2. In Round 1, eight winners will each receive a GrabFood gift voucher worth $10 in a form of promo codes.
  3. In Round 2, four winners will each receive a GrabFood gift voucher worth $10 in a form of promo codes.
  4. In Round 3, two winners will each receive a GrabFood gift voucher worth $10 in a form of promo codes.
  5. In the Final Round, one winner will receive a GrabFood gift voucher worth $20 in a form of promo codes.
  6. The Winners will be announced on The Halal Eater Instagram Stories within 24 hours of the end of every Round.
  7. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current [SG] data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
  8. The organiser reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner if the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification/announcement.
  9. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
  10. The organiser will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected/is delivered.
  11. The organiser’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the contest will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  12. GrabFood gift vouchers are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. The GrabFood gift vouchers are/will be issued by Grab Holdings (“Grab”) and will be governed, as between you and Grab, by such separate terms and conditions as may be imposed by Grab.

General Terms and Conditions

  • By entering this contest, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  • There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this contest.

  • No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
  • The organiser is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this contest.
  • This contest is subject to Singapore laws.
