The Halal Eater is a news and lifestyle publication that produces informative and engaging coverage of what’s halal and happening in Singapore, from Tampines to Tuas and everything in between.

We attract more than 500,000 page views a month from more than 250,000 unique users (updated June 2021), with over half of our audience between the ages of 25 and 44. Basically, young Singaporeans with spending power, and key decision-makers in their households and social groups.

97% of our readers are on mobile, hence we are mindful to always create high-quality but digestible news and entertainment content that are easily shareable on social media.

Some of our popular content include news of brands that just got halal-certified (A&W; Pepper Lunch; Ramburger), community stories that are raw and eye-opening (Netizens outraged at production companies for asking HBBs for sponsorship; how vendors are affected by the Geylang Bazaar cancellation in 2020; and hurtful allegations that troubled this new F&B owner).

Unlike other publications that focus primarily on food, we also feature interviews with the unsung heroes of F&B businesses: the people behind them.

In 2021, we began to include entertaining videos into our content mix such as the Buy or Bye series and Singaporeans attempting food challenges.
