Love Bakes By NY‘s stuffed donuts ? You are in luck, as their brand-new shop is opening this weekend at Simpang Bedok.
In an Instagram post posted on October 7, they announced that they shop will open on October 10 (Saturday).
Not one, but two new shops
Serving up the much-loved donuts stuffed with a variety of fillings like nutella, ovomaltine, chocolate fudge, cream cheese, biskoff, caramel cream cheese and durian, Bakes by NY will open from 3pm to midnight.
The brand-new shop is located on the stretch of popular eateries along Bedok Road, right beside Tang Tea House.
But this is not the only new shop that Bakes By NY is opening.
Plans are already under way to open another outlet in Yishun this coming November.
This rapid expansion despite the economic downturn is bolstered by the encouraging response received by customers thus far, reported BERITAMediacorp.
The bakery has a shop in Tampines since April this year.
According to owner, Khairul Anwar, they have invested S$100,000–profits from running the business thus far–into the opening of the new shops.
He also mentioned that the plan was to open subsequent shops all along, but he had to accelerate the plan due to increasing demand for their goods.
On average, over 1000 donuts are sold daily.
The shop in Tampines is small, hence expansion to a bigger space is necessary to increase production.
Similar to the Tampines outlet, both new shops will also be takeaway-only.
S$1 delivery fee or occasionally free!
What struck us as a very unique differentiator for Bakes By NY is their ultra affordable delivery fee.
Depending on your location, the fee could be as low as S$1 or even free if you are lucky.
In fact, this author has bought a dozen donuts delivered to his house in Punggol for free.
Twice.
Granted, the delivery fees vary daily, leveraging on an on-demand basis.
This simply means that if they receive more orders from your area on that day, you benefit by paying a lower delivery fee.

The donuts are sold at S$3 each or a dozen for S$30.
