After an extensive refurbishment, Peppermint at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay finally reopened in the later part of last year.

Last night, the restaurant, formerly known as AquaMarine, just announced that its buffet stations are now halal-certified.

Note: Upon enquiry, PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay informed The Halal Eater that only Peppermint Live Buffet Counter and their kitchen are now Halal Certified, which means that the restaurant is still allowed to serve alcoholic beverages in the premises itself.

Refurbished restaurant

Peppermint is a restaurant that offers Asian and International favourites.

Following its renovation, the restaurant now flaunts a lush garden theme, with plenty of greenery at every corner as well as a farm-to-table concept in its menu offerings.

Local and international cuisines

Apart from the gorgeous decor, Peppermint also has an extensive buffet menu.

According to its Facebook page, the new all-you-can-eat concept “provides a wide variety of wholesome Asian and International favourites, freshly prepared at the opened display kitchen and served to your table.”

With a renewed focus on conscious eating, Peppermint’s new menus also include plant-based options and the use of sustainably- and locally-sourced ingredients.

Interestingly, the restaurant also grows its own produce in its own urban farm! Herbs, edible flowers and vegetables are grown and used as garnishes, aromatics and ingredients for food as well as drinks like tea and infused water.

Peranakan Buffet – 1 March to 11 April

On the hotel’s website, it shows that the current theme for the buffet is Peranakan.

You can expect the all-you-can-eat Peranakan fare to feature favourites like the Dried Nonya Laksa, Black Angus Beef Oxtail Pongteh and Itek Sio!

Diners may also enjoy unlimited servings of Ayam Buah Keluak, Ikan Goreng Rendang, Udang Assam Nanas DIY Peranakan Kueh Pie Tee, and more!
