A new cafe by the name of Pestle & Mortar Society (PMS for short) specialising in Western fusion dishes just opened in Macpherson.
According to their Facebook page, PMS is a “casual joint serving up a curious assortment of Malay-Western hybrids.”

Steaks and Pizza
Pasta aside, other hearty dishes such as Angus Prime Striploin (S$25.90) and 10″ Pizza (from S$17.90) are also available. Surprisingly, there’s even Nasi Ambeng (S$10.90) in the menu, possibly to cater to diners with a more traditional palate.
Here are some of their photos:

Drinks & Desserts
Drinks wise, the cafe offers milkshakes and mojitos to pair with your food orders. At S$6.90 a glass, these drinks are also reasonably priced in our opinion. On the other hand, dessert options seem rather limited, with Creme Brulee and assorted cakes going for $7.90 per slice.
