The Royals Steakhouse, which serves hearty steaks, is closing down its outlet at 10 Jalan Pisang.

The final day of operations will be on February 28, 2021.

The impending closure after six years of operations was announced on the restaurant’s Facebook page on December 6 last year.

The post highlighted serving “more customers as well as have a wider menu selection” as the business’ reason for moving out. To make that happen, they will be looking for a bigger shop space.

Well-known for its affordable steaks

The Royals Steakhouse is well-known for its meat offerings, particularly the premium beef steaks and lamb chops.

The restaurant also currently offers other non-steak dishes like Pan Fried Norwegian Salmon (S$20), Prawn and Mushroom Linguine (S$18) and the Royals ‘Bad Boy’ Burger (S$20).

Interestingly though, “The Royals” brand has its origins in the cake business. The business was established in 2003 to create hotel-quality cakes at affordable prices.

Over the years, they have expanded their repertoire to include other handmade goods like mini chicken pies, curry puffs, artisanal breads and simple yet delicious cafe food.
