One of Kampong Gelam’s most iconic and popular landmark is undoubtedly Bhai Sarbat, the heritage tea stall on Baghdad Street that has been serving its legendary teh sarbat since the 1970s.
For the longest time, Bhai Sarbat has been operating from an unassuming corner in a row of shophouses where queues typically spill onto the adjacent alleyway, a testament to its popularity.
Basically, if you wanted teh tarik, you’d have to get in line. But, you might not have to do that anymore as the tea shop is now offering islandwide delivery for its range of pulled teas.
Delivering heritage to your doorstep
In a video announcement posted on its Instagram page, Bhai Sarbat revealed that it has begun to take pre-orders for islandwide delivery on Jul. 12 for delivery on Jul. 16 onwards.
The cinematic video shows owner Mohammad Asgar in his element: pulling cups of teh sarbat with flair and precision.
More importantly, the new product featured is a handy to-go box that carries three litres of the all-important liquid gold: teh sarbat!
Menu & Prices
A variety of beverages is available for delivery in the 3-litre boxes. And customers can also choose from 3 levels of sweetness: Sweet, Normal, and Less Sweet.

Islandwide delivery is charged at S$10, and there’s also a S$5 surcharge for delivery to Tuas and Sentosa.
Two delivery time slots are available: 8am – 2pm and 3pm – 8pm.
