New supper club The Shakehouse serves local and Western dishes like pasta, mee goreng & milkshakes till 2am

Opens till 2am.

Love Food Club, the casual-style family dining restaurant formerly at 9 Perak Street in Little India, has relocated to Tessensohn Road in between Farrer Park and Boon Keng MRT stations.

Together with the move, the restaurant has also been renamed as The Shakehouse by Love Food Club.

The restaurant had to close in July 2021 as they were hit badly due to the dining-in restrictions during Phase 2 (Heightened Alert).

The restaurant had only been in operation for one year prior to closing their doors.

Today, less than a year since then, Love Food Club is back up and running again since Apr. 14 2022, with a new name and venue.

The new eatery is also open till 2am, making it an ideal spot for supper!

Familiar favourites still on menu

Regular customers would be relieved to know they still serve their signature dishes, such as the grilled calamari (S$9.90), Mee Goreng Basah (S$8.90), and pizzas (from $19.80).

The new menu also features more local and western dishes that are bound to please everyone in your dining party.

Savoury dishes are not the only things you can find here; there are also sweet treats like waffles, gelato, cakes and milkshakes to pander to the sweet-toothed.

Superhero-themed vibes

Interestingly, the restaurant’s interior has been carefully crafted with a balance between visual graphics and a superhero theme.

On one wall, figurines of comic book super heroes and heroines pose from inside acrylic display cases. Elsewhere, a gallery wall of framed superhero artwork gives more visual interest in the space.

The superhero theme carries on in the restaurant’s second floor where more seats are available.

A cursory Google search reveals that the venue once belonged to superhero-themed restaurant Hungry Heroes, but we’re unsure if the artefacts will be permanent fixtures in The Shakehouse.
