Geylang Bazaar might be a no-go this year, but smaller-scale events are popping up this month specifically for Ramadan.
Whilst the vibes are certainly different, these events do offer two things we love to do during Ramadan anyway –– buy food and shop for Raya.
Bookmark these “bazaars” in your calendar, and check them out to enjoy some #Ramadanvibes.
1. Erat: A Ramadhan Open House
This 2-day pop-up event organised by fashion boutique En Pointe is the place to be if you want to shop for all things Raya under one roof. The Open House is where you can check out festive clothing and accessories by local brands such as Katt & Co., ELDA, Adlina Anis, Hafizah Ghazali, TuMeet by Norfasarie and more.
There will also be ketupat weaving by Masterchef Season 1 finalist Shamsydar Ani and batik appreciation workshop with Oniatta Effendi.
And yes, there’ll also be some food vendors to quell your hunger and thirst. We heard there’ll be bazaar faves like keropok lekor, goreng pisang, satay goreng and even Artisanal Chendol by Chendolkita.

2. Mini Bazaar at Mr Malabar Cafe
Head down to Mr Malabar Cafe for some Ramadan bazaars vibes! Several food and drinks live stations will be present, hawking familiar favourites like Ramly burgers, kebabs, dendeng, apam balik, otak-otak and more.
Pair all those food with beverages like air kathira and bandung. But if you’re keen to try something different, HABIBTEA might be of interest to you. This will be the first time that the Arab bubble tea company is doing a live station, so if you’re curious how Arab bubble tea tastes like (trust us, it’s super sedap), pay them a visit ASAP.
Address: Mr Malabar Cafe, 54 Maude Road, Singapore 208346
Date & Time: 10 April – 12 May | 10AM to 12AM Daily
More info here.
3. Paradiso by HAO
Within The Grandstand at Bukit Timah is a Halal concept space, which includes a Halal mart, F&B stalls and even an event hall. Of particular interest to us are the F&B stalls here that collectively become a mini bazaar of sorts. From burgers to kebabs to kuih Raya, there’s bound to be something for everyone here. The place might be a little inaccessible if you don’t drive, but thankfully, there are shuttle buses to get to The Grandstand.
Address: The Grandstand, 200 Turf Club Road, #02-06/14, Singapore 287994
Date & Time: 6 April – 12 May | 12pm-11pm Daily
