The famous nasi lemak brand announced on 17 July that its latest outlet is now open in Bugis Junction.
After months of anticipation, CRAVE is celebrating the opening of its new location with two special opening promotions.
From 21-23 July, customers can enjoy a 1-for-1 Nasi Lemak Royale Value Meal, limited to 100 redemptions per day. From 27-31 July, you get a FREE piece of bergedil with every Nasi Lemak purchased.
The Nasi Lemak Royale is a power-packed set comprising of fragrant basmati rice, crispy chicken wing, fish fillet, bergedil, fried egg, ikan bilis and peanuts, sambal and cucumber.
As for the rest of the menu, expect the brand’s titular nasi lemak, along with other sides like beef rendang, curry chicken and more.
The popular nasi lemak joint of Adam Road Hawker Centre (it was named Selera Rasa then) was founded by the late Mr Hassan Abdul Kadir who then handed the reins to his children.
Among many other accolades, it bagged The Straits Times Readers’ Choice award for favourite nasi lemak in 2008. The Sultan of Brunei requests it for breakfast each time he visits Singapore. Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong served it to Indonesian President Joko Widodo at the Istana when the latter visited Singapore.
In 2015, Pezzo Group — the folks behind Pezzo Pizza — joined in a partnership with the business and rebranded Selera Rasa to CRAVE, which also houses teh tarik from Rafee’s Corner in Amoy Street. After all, nasi lemak and teh tarik is a winning combination.
Since then, CRAVE has sprouted like mushrooms across the country and expanded to over 20 outlets in total.
