Korean grilled meat ricebowl shop in AMK Hub now halal

For your Korea withdrawals.
Gerill Bab is now halal

Freshly made grilled meat bowls are being served up to customers in Ang Mo Kio at a relatively new takeaway.

The recently halal-certified Korean themed Gerill Bab opened its doors in mid-July in AMK Hub and serves bowls of rice, salad and noodles with grilled mains.

Affordable Korean grilled food

Inspired by original Korean family recipes, Gerill Bab takes an immersive approach to simple Korean staples.

Customers watch as the cooks grill seafood and meats on a hot pan, Teppanyaki-style, in front of them.

Ordering here is pretty simple: just pick a main and a base.

Mains such as Chicken (S$6.80), Fish (S$7.80) and Beef Patty (S$7.80) are pretty standard, but if you want to go all out, Premium Beef (S$11.80) and Garlic Butter Prawn (S$8.80) are also available.

After selecting your Main, choose a base — either Rice, Noodles or Salad — to go along with it.

The base comes with side dishes like kimchi, cucumber, egg and seaweed.

You may also top up with additional items if you are feeling particularly famish.

If all of these sound good, this is even better: Gerill Bab is already halal-certified by MUIS.
